Today, we take the time to gratefully look back at everything we have accomplished in 2016 – a year full of exciting highlights and joyful developments.
Not only have we opened two offices in Berlin and Tel Aviv, we also almost doubled our man power and built up a new Sales and Business Development team. Now, we record 24 members in our Spyke Media family. We appreciate everyone who decided to join us on our journey and are more than proud to have grown this much within just one year.
Our people attended numerous exciting events around the globe, like the Affiliate Summit West in Las Vegas, Apps World London and also the magnificent Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, where we hosted a stand together with GTX Messaging. Barcelona is also a fixed destination with yet another booth hosted by us there next February. Also, we set up our first own booth at the Israel Mobile Summit this month. Besides all those interesting industry insights, we are particularly grateful for the new friends and partners we gained. It was a pleasure to welcome some of you in our beautiful hometown of Cologne for our pre-dmexco boat party, a great night we still think back to with joy. And of course, our booth at dmexco, one of the industry’s leading events, led to great talks and contacts.
As for the upcoming year 2017, a lot of great things are yet to come. We are looking forward to attending numerous exciting events. Also, we plan to move more into video advertising, which has turned out to be one of the hottest trends this year. Finally, our efforts to defy fraudsters that we emphasized by joining a closed beta phase with codinc have been a huge success. We have achieved to eradicate fraud almost completely and are very optimistic that we can keep ahead of those trying to make illegal use of the performance marketing business model. We have been able to see this enormous progress as a result of our cooperation with codinc, who recently started promoting their fine performance marketing suite performinc after closed testing during most of 2016.
We at Spyke Media are beyond thankful for the amazing progress we made, and most of all for everyone who contributed to making it possible. We are looking forward to ringing in another exciting year, curious about what it holds for us. We wish all our friends and partners a merry Christmas and joyful holidays. See you all in 2017!
